The EIS Math Team participated in the Elevating Mathematics Competition at county office. Students had three rounds of competition: 2 individual and 1 team round. We are so proud of all our Jets for their hard work. It was great to see so many students show off their love of math. Several of our team members also placed in the competition.
Individuals for fifth grade: Henry Kennedy placed in the top 10.
Individuals for sixth grade: Marie Kennedy placed in the top 10. Carson Brown and Nathan Kennedy placed in the top 5.
Two of our teams placed in the team round.
Carson Brown, Tucker Brown, Luke Speak, and Zion McRae won 3rd place.
Isla Kennedy, Marie Kennedy, and Violet Atwood won 2nd place.
